Afghan Wedding Invitations

The Filgua

L to visit on Friday July 24 for work: I covered the official opening of the VI Fair International Book in Guatemala, made in the industry park and two things struck me:

  1. The presidential party and state machine-bureaucratic-communicative that it brings. In my opinion I think it's too personal to have two official photographers, cameramen and other characters that accompanied the current president, but if the snakes do not eat rats disappear.

  1. The opening of the brothers Costa Rican culture and education. I talked with the ambassador of Costa Rica in Guatemala, Lidiette Brenes, and confirmed the tico like to share the beauty of their country and reach out to foreign tourists.

again On Sunday I visited the fair as "normal person", no camera, no uniform protocol and without enough time to search and find literary treasures.

I really feel comfortable to say: I invite everyone to visit the VI Book Fair in Guatemala. Held from July 24 to August 2 in the industrial park in the halls 4, 5, and 6-On 4 has all the works on offer available for every taste, 5 books and activities for children, and 6 food stalls to take a rest and enjoy shopping for those who have the habit of reading while eating.

For my part I liked several details that invite you to visit:

- With Q.15.00 parking and entry-Q.1.00 Q.5.00 children, can have a good time looking for the book I'd like to read, find something interesting or different, buy - or buy a gift- advance, to take bids and even meet people you know.

- Upon entering each stand all representatives of different publishers respect the client-reader. Know to get one and not interrupt with: are you looking for something special?. not be shy to ask for the author, title or subject, or help you to find what you are looking for.

- The interaction of the audience / reader I loved it. There was a market, each seeking its own, respecting everyone's tastes.

- This certainly liked: Good deals. Maybe being 10% or 20% at most but if you have time it is.

For now I commented that I did not leave empty-handed took me The Complete Works, A taste Monterroso; Thousand and One Nights -Anonimo; Legends and stories, Gustavo Adolfo Becher; Big Mama's Funeral of Garcia Marquez, and Diplomacy, Henry Kissinger.

So turn off the television, Disconnect from his "friends" on Facebook, rest your eyes from the screen of the laptop and become big kids: buy a good book, read it and travel to wherever they want ... of course, if want.
